Playa Dorada was built between 1988 and 1990, contributing to the tourist development of Playa Blanca together with the hotels that have been developing over the years. The beach was designed in such a way that the bathing area remains protected by the arms that were formed to create calm waves ideal for bathing with the golden sand giving the beach its name.
Since its opening to the public in 1991, we have been working to make your stay at the beach a satisfying and unforgettable experience.
Playa Dorada has security, lifeguard services and is cleaned daily. It has facilities for people with mobility difficulties, with an amphibious chair for those who request it and a defibrillator connected to the 112 Emergency Services with trained personnel for its use.
