In 1990, in the heart of the Lavapiés neighborhood in Madrid, our craft store "Ayllu" was inaugurated. This beautiful word comes from the ancient Quechua language which was used by the Incas and is still in force in Peru. Ayllu refers to the small towns around a big city, that is to say "Community".
We are a wholesale and retail store that offers residents of the neighborhood and merchants from all over Spain, Europe and the entire planet the opportunity to get closer to the magical and wonderful world of handicrafts of the Andean and exotic peoples of Latin America.
