Ar. Deepankar Kankalia, Principal Architect of GEOMETRIX Architects Pvt. Ltd. with his wide education and experience in India and abroad in the field of Architecture is the driving force at GEOMETRIX Architects Pvt. Ltd. Born in April 18 1977, Ar. Deepankar Kankalia graduated in architecture from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s college of Architecture, Pune University in March 2001. He then in April 2001, persuaded for higher studies in Architecture at The State University of New York, US. In 2003 after returning from US, on 1 May 2004 started practicing architecture under the name Kankalia & associates which subsequently got renamed as GEOMETRIX Architects Pvt. Ltd. In the year 2007. Buildings in India are varied and extensive. There are multi stories flats with utmost modern amenities and at the same time there are some houses, which barely cover the minimum requirements for persons to live. We have villas and palaces and we also have small mud houses. Such kind of diversity excited Ar. Deepankar Kankalia to take up architecture so that he can in his own small way contribute to this vast field. Ar. Deepankar Kankalia is even a philatelist and numismatist with a sizable collection of stamps and coins. A passion that grew with him, slowly became a craze and an integral part of him. Ar. Deepankar Kankalia provides consultancy and advisory services in Architectural, structural, 3D modelling and project management for more than a decade and they work extensively upon planning campuses in residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
